  • RECALL: 60+ Omega-3 Supplements Impacted After Dog Gets Sick

    Stratford Care USA, Inc produces omega-3 supplements for dogs and cats under a variety of brand names. Now, since a dog showed signs of vitamin A toxicity after ingesting the supplements, the company issued a voluntary recall as a safety precaution.
    62 products were recalled on March 10, 2023, for potentially elevated levels of vitamin A. Even though vitamin A necessary in a healthy diet, too much could lead to severe health issues and, in extreme cases, death. So, if your dog takes omega-3 supplements, check to make sure the product you use isn't part of the recall.
