    Theresa adopted Skyla from the shelter when she was two years old. Theresa had wanted a Pit Bull for a long time. Before adopting Skyla, she'd show photos of Pitties to her mom, who then asked Theresa, “Why do you wanna get those scary dogs?” Theresa knew better. She understood that Pit Bulls get a bad rap and are often misunderstood.
