    For Pups With Short Attention Spans... Contrary to popular belief, dogs do sweat, except they mostly sweat through their feet and nose. However, sweating is not the most efficient form of temperature regulation in dogs, which is why dogs pant, bringing cool air over their nose and tongue. Be mindful of signs your dog might be too hot, and note that shaving your dog doesn't keep them cool. Your dog's coat actually helps them stay cool by insulating them to hotter teperatures.
